Anyway, she doesn't vomit immediately after she eats, it takes a few hours. I will give her more chicken in broth in another hour, that way it is 3 hours between small portions....what do you think?
I am confused as to why she would have an UTI??? She is keeping herself clean and I have cleaned the area as well, does being in heat effect uti????
I have noticed that her urine is light in colour and she has had 3 pee's today. She also had a very very soft poop early afternoon that was larger than normal and she had another small very very soft one about an hour ago, I did notice that there was mucus. Thank you very much for all your suggestions, it is greatly appreciated.
The biscuits are Mother Hubbart mix variety, I understand this is a very good product...?....I also have her on Acana Grassland....

Oh, I also have noticed, not related to the heat issue, that the last month or so her urine has become deeper in colour, not that light puppy pee....I figure it was due to her not being such a puppy....what are your thoughts?
Glad she kept something down for you. I know this was yesterday, how was she overnight for you? I just suggested possible UTI because they can be common with heat cycles, not necessarily what's going on though.
The biscuits are fine, it's just that if they have a tummy issue you want to avoid anything "heavy" or hard to digest and biscuits and kibble take a bit more effort on their tummy's part vs. moist plain chicken and rice, they're fine normaly though
The vomiting could be unrelated to the heat cycle, could just be a coincidence. Has her stool been checked for worms by the vet recently? Also, has she been on the Acana Grasslands since you got her or is this a new food to her?
Whatever is going on, whether it's due to the heat cycle or something else, that much vomiting = vet visit, so give him a call today. If they vomit once, I don't worry, sometimes they eat too fast or whatever, but since she did it quite a few times, I'd take her in to be checked. It may be caused by the heat cycle, but that's just not normal.
As far as her urine being darker recently, that 'could' possibly be a sign of a UTI or something else going on, but it's more likely that she's not drinking enough water. If the vet rules out any problems, you can give her a bit of canned food and that will hydrate her more.
Even if she seems better today, I'd still take her in to the vet anyway. Let us know how it goes.
