I agree I've owned puppies before, and just let him eat as he needs, keep an eye on his weight though, and maybe soak his food a little bit so its softer. At nine weeks old he is very young and probably still a li'l sensitive in the teeth.
I agree, a bit young, but he's on the bigger side, so a little less to worry about, but still make sure the house is puppy proofed. He sure is a cutie!
