Ya, that's alot for a small dog, that's the amount I would give my 40 lb. Beagle mix for a whole meal. I use plain boiled chicken breast to stop loose stools or diarrhea (about 1 oz. for 4 lb. Alice mixed with 1 tsp. of rice), so it was probably that it was just too much.
I'd actually fast Ritz for 1 meal, let that all finish digesting, you can give just the pumpkin to help firm up whatever stool's left to come out though, ONLY 1 teaspoon though. Hope he feels better
