Have you spoken to your vet? I would speak to your vet about the possibilities of pregnancy (I would imagine she could be) and if she is able to carry a pregnancy to full-term and able to withstand a whelp. You could also post in the breeder's section asking if in their expert opinion will a dog of that age and health (?) could she and the pups survive? Just from human med, I would venture to say the older the dam, the higher the probability of a high risk pregnancy/birth, necessitating a lot of vet bills. |
