Banning the dogs from my bedroom. Well I've finally had it! I've had my two pups in our bed with us since I can remember and I've finally had it. Every night I get horrible sleep anyways but it doesn't help that the dogs are up and down so many times waking me up in the night. they get off the bed and there is a loud THUD everything waking us up. We never know if the thud is for a drink or they need to go outside. Lately the dogs have both been jumping down mid-morning and peeing or pooping all over my bedroom floor waking me or Dh up with the sound of them scraping their feet after their business on the floor. It's frustrating me to know end to have to clean up poop every day and to be woken up over and over when I'm already having a hard time sleeping.
I've decided the dogs need to learn to sleep in their own beds in the beautiful doggie tent and not with me and DH. we're pushed apart and never snuggle anymore and no one is sleeping soundly. time to move on with the baby coming who will need my attention and my bedroom more than the dogs do.
I love my pups so much, but i cannot take it anymore. they are driving me batty when they bounce around on me while i try to sleep and keep jumping off the bed and then wanting back up again.
Am I a horrible pregnant lady for wanting some sleep and peace? I think it's better to transition them now than after baby comes so they don't resent baby.
Thanks for any advice. |
