Hi. I think I posted on another thread of yours, but just in case I'm mistaken... I agree, please check the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America's website, ytca.org. They are a very reputable breeders' association. They have a breeder referral section on their web site to help people find good breeders in their area.

From your post, you sound like you've run across scammers. To help you weed them out, a good breeder will not place a dog before at least 12 wks of age. There is no such thing as a "teacup". Make sure they have a health guarantee for a reasonable period of time. Good breeders sell pets on a "limited registration". They will also want to meet you or somehow interview you to make sure their pups will be cared for.
