I worry about the same thing. We have some mighty big birds hanging out in the farmers field behind us, I also hear owls hooting. I watch Teddie as right now he is only a little over 7 pounds...heck, I worry my 14 pound chunker pom would look like a snack too to all of these big birds. I read somewhere that 120 mph attack (which is what their attack speed feels like according to some sites) from a bird like these will snap an animals spine...not something I would want to have happen to any of my pets.
