Attachment 344357 This is Big Brutis. I think his picture is a story within a story especially in the gray hair and lines within his tongue. He is the last Boxer of my parent's breeding Boxers from years ago. I don't know his age, but he is in his mid to late teens, very old for a Boxer. Although he has now been diagnosed with cancer. They didn't think he would survive this last winter but he is holding his own.

Attachment 344358 This is Biscuit, a pound puppy suspected to be a yellow lab mix. So sweet. Love how this picture turned out, but it is a mistake. I don't think I could get this on purpose.

Attachment 344359 This is Roscoe, also a pound puppy. He is a Beagle Pug mix surrendered by his original owners because of his hyperactivity. He now has all the room in the world to run and play. Just today when I was there, he was chasing the impossible to catch rabbit.

I LOVE country dogs! They always seem to be confident and mellow. Great pics.

Great pics, everybody! Bitsy, love the horse closeup. I normally like a true black in pictures, but that works well on an artistic level. I even like the harsh white because it gives the sense of wide open spaces.

sbyork, I'm a sucker for G-man shots! Hummingbird is awesome, too. I think it was real close to being a great shot with all the different colors in there. Focus is a little soft; otherwise, love the composition!

As for sharp colors, I suck at that too. I asked a friend about it who's real good at it, and she said it's all photoshop skills. She knows how boost the tones she wants without ruining the rest of the picture.
