With all due respect I have been using it on Sarge for 3 years and his coat is gorgeous. It always grows back, strong and thick, and we've never had an issue of his skin being damaged in any way. He's a silky pom and it hasn't changed his coat in any way, it just takes off the excess fluff, that covers his silver tips, so that he is more comfortable in the summer.
