I wish I had advice I've never actually trained a dog to play fetch... Tikka begs me to take the toy from her.... I throw it and she brings it back and sets it in my lap. If I dont throw it she nudges it with her nose and whines.


I would say def. try the leash thing! Pooter is a hider, I throw a toy for him and he takes it to his kennel... let us know if it works for you!
