If she bites leave... ignore what you do not want. remove her when she bites. get up turn your back anything that draws attention to the action you do nto want will build or increase that action.

6 year old can pass her carrots and treats and toys everytime she reaches over to nip. Distract delay and change the behaviour. reward teh not biting you every chance you get.
