WELL. I always wanted to have two dogs; it just seemed like so much fun. But the timing was never good.
When I had my little maltese - I was young and single and working all the time. Too little time and too little money. He didn't like other dogs much anyway AND my cousin had a little Yorkie he could play with.
Flash forward - years later - we had Ringo. He needs LOTS of entertainment. We started in agility - but he started getting snarky with the bigger and male dogs. So I kept thinking I could NEVER have a second dog.
Then, I got a job where I worked at home - money was pretty good. My son was growing up and away from me (lightbulb moment!) and I decided that I needed a sweet little yorkie to hug and love and to keep Ringo and I company.
The timing was right ~ working from home~ big, fenced yard ~ and kid growing up.
And now I have my sweet little Lucy!! FINALLY.
