Kids in Europe, for the most part, are irritating, obnoxious, and rude. And the parents do nothing, NOTHING to correct them. I've witnessed big kids, like 13, push little kids, probably around 6, out of their way. The little one will fall down and start crying and nothing happens, parents don't come over and correct them. Shoot, I've had a 10-ish y/o kid shove his way through me on an airplane while trying to find a seat! RUDE!
Kids on airplanes...gah...I don't care if their crying, I feel for them. I understand how much it sucks being cramped up, bored, and having your ears hurt. However, if they start kicking the back of my seat, it is on. I've given parents dirty looks in that case, I've even turned around and told the kid to stop it.
I cant wait to get back to American kids, where for the most part the only time you see temper tantrums are if the kid is having a bad day. And even then the parent is usually trying to make it stop. Maybe then I'll decide if kids will ever be a part of my life...for now there is no freakin way! | |
