That could be it!!! Americans are eating in restaurants with less hair on our food. How did we miss that until now?!?! That would probably whittle us all right down to the nub - just eating with all those dogs and the special condiments they could add to our food. I can tell the Europeans don't have my hair-on-food revulsion or they would all be anorexic. Ha!

My husband was like that too, though. If he found a hair on his food, he would have a quiet word with the manager and walk right out. Course Americans got really fat once the country stopped smoking and drinking coffee all day. I think Europe still smokes way more than America. If you look at old American movies, newreels and TV shows where people smoke alot, they are almost all thin. Oh, well, I still love all doggies even though I don't like to eat in restaurants next to them!!!
