I was thinking about getting a book called
The Age of Miracles by Marianne Williamson. I have heard it is motivational/inspirational and sometimes I need that. Not sure how your step-mom is about age-related things. I have no problems understanding I am getting old.

The Power of Purpose is another on my list. I haven't read them yet, but they look interesting and
the Age of Miracles was referred to me by someone who read it and really enjoyed it.
