My little Ruby has just been chipped and to be honest for the cost of it it is well worth doing. When I asked the vet about the price I was all prepared for a shock but it was such a low cost item there is little point in not doing it.
Little Ruby just stood there looking at us when the needle went in, not a blimp or flinch not even a sign she knew it was happening all over in micro seconds.
Ask yourself these questions.
1. COULD it help in an ownership dispute ?
2. Does it harm my pet in any way at all ?
3. Can I afford the cost of doing it ?
4. Is there anything to be gained in NOT doing it ?
5. In the event that your pet got itself lost would they be able to find out who the owner is ?
If you answer the above in all honesty then you will know the answer to your question. |
