All mine, except Harlow, are microchipped. She's too "skinny" they thought. She's on a high calorie supplement, but has only gained 2 oz in the last 3-4 wks or so that I've had her on it. Vet says she's exceptionally healthy just one of those "lean" dogs (like people have different bodies). So I'm trying to get her to put on some weight but she'll probably just always be 'mean & lean' I guess --- opps, off rambling again --- my point was I think microchipping outweighs the risks (until there's more definitive proof otherwise). These little dogs are fast and should they get out the door they'd be long gone - microchipping at least gives you a chance at getting them back.
