Daisy has long legs and is a little over the standard weight. She is a very delicate and graceful little girl with a beautiful, long coat and pretty face. I wouldn't worry about it. Besides, breeders don't sell their "show quality" dogs that are "spot-on" within the standard (in size and every other aspect ) to the "customer"...only the more out of standard pups. They keep the show quality yorkies for themselves. I would rather have a slightly bigger yorkie that turned out well than a tiny one that didn't. I don't know how long you have been a member of this site. But if you keep reading about all the trials and tribulations folks on this site have with a lot of the smaller yorkies (and I'm not just talking about "tinies" I'm also talking about a lot of the smaller standard sized ones as well).....I promise.....you will thank the heavens that your dog is a little more of a hardy size. Just be happy and love your little dog.
