He's not panting now, I did a little "test" too see if maybe he was just being anxious/jealous.
First I started playing with Tikka, throwing her fetchie and talking to her... immediately, Pooter came running in panting! He has never had a desire to play fetch or with any of his toys until Tikka came lol. Now as soon as he hears a squeaker he shows up!
Second, I picked him up and gave him some belly rubs and included him in fetch... and what do you know he stopped panting. Gave them both a piece of chicken at the same time, walked away. No panting.
Could it be more that he's smart enough to know his panting makes me wanna pick him up? Ha! Well if it happens again tomorrow, my vet will be open and I will take him in for a check up... I also read it could be heartworm?
