Mine is almost 4 months and she is doing good outside. When we are in I have the pee pad down but mostly she goes outside. I just take her out right after she wakes up, I don't even let her little feet hit the floor first. Then I take her right after she eats, after she naps, etc. It takes a while outside even if I am standing next to her. It's as if she is looking for the right spot. LOL. Good Luck
