Well, as it turns out, tar is not poisonous. BUT, she upset her stomach when she ingested some of it. The poison control folks said if she vomited more than twice - to head to the ER vet. She vomited at least 5 times total by the time I was done talking w/them ~ so off we went.

They gave her Sub q fluids and an injection to settle her stomach. No food or water until tomorrow. I can give her some ice cubes at bedtime. She seems perky now and slightly put out that Ringo had his dinner and she didn't get hers.

Next time - I'll stick to the trails that I KNOW.
