Your story sure brought back a very pointed memory to me! The last time I visited Illinois (many years back) we walked in my sister's house to see her son cutting the hair from the rear end of their Pom. Theirs also had a very sensitive stomach. It seemed that was a particularly bad stomach week for the Pom and it had been my nephew's "turn" for keeping the Pom clean. He had enough so he practically shaved the baby's behind! I thought at the time it was pretty drastic action, but since then I've had my yorkies and I keep their little behinds shaved too! |
