Our kids are early 20's so we don't have small children. Once a person sits down, the dogs sit by our guests. They can't usually be caught by someone standing, especially a child.
The other day a 23yo friend of my son picked up my littlest girl, he was holding her a foot off the ground and she was flailing, I reached over and grabbed her. He said my son had told him that picking her up would stop her from barking. Just to say, even an adult doesn't always know how to handle a wiggly little dog. |
