Thanks so the suggestion, I will try to feed them earlier in the day so maybe he can get out all the poop before bed. My instincts do tell me that going back to the crate will solve the problem. But I'm at the point now, after more than a year in bed, that he doesn't want to be in the crate. He cries and cries at bed time. He will settle down eventually but I feel so bad  |
Can you put him in a little airline carrier with the open sides, etc., and put it in bed with you to sleep just until he gets past this - along with feeding him a lot earlier? Also, nix the treats in the evening until he gets over this hump.
Has his type of food or anything else changed along with this early pottying?
