It was only last month that I bought a bag of Evo. Mainly for my Shih Tzu who looked like she needed to put on weight. So I mixed the evo in with their Welness super 5 , small breed. It has helped the shih Tzu , However, now Suzi looks like she has gained some weight, not fat , but stalky, more muscle weight. Plus her hair has grown out some, so she looks even bigger. I think My "little" Suzi ate more of the Evo , then Miely . Suzi was about 7 pounds , now I think she has gained a couple more... It is hard to tell with all her hair, but even my son made a comment. I did not expect in just a months time this could happen.
Evo is a very expensive food too, so I guess it is better just to keep them on the Wellness only. I noticed that Suzi got a lot stronger too. And plays a little too rough with Miely, who is smaller. Suzi pins her down during playtime, and playfully growls at her, she has never hurt Miely, but makes me nervous.
