Tikka I believe already had her growth spurt, when I replied to her ad her owner said she was 4lbs. So I figured she would max out around 5-6.
However, he called me the day before I was supposed to come get her and said "She is actually weighing in at 7lbs, it's been a couple months I guess she's gotten chunky, do you still want her" So in two months she put on 3lbs.
Of course I said yes, we wanted a 6-7lb girl because those little 3lb guys/girls aren't as good for jogging, tug of war, fetch, swimming the lake, and playing with huge dogs that are rough. She does all of these things! My 5lb Pom does too, but he is a lot more fragile!

We'll see what happens in the next 3 months! But I do believe she is done at 8 months old... just her genetics I guess! I would say 8months-1.5 years depending on the parents and their bone structure. Tikka is very muscular!
