thanks both of you! pooter is a real catch for whatever reason after 3 days of taking him out every 3hours he just caught on he only had two accidents. now he goes out about every 4-5 hours and he sleeps in my bed at night without any accidents! I use the phrase "wanna go outside!?" at potty time and if he has to go he run circles around me and jumps lol! if he doesn't have to go he just ignores me
Tikka however is a tougher case as she is housetrained to run loose in a fenced yard which we don't have so I have to take her out on a leash... so far she doesn't understand going potty on a leash she simply goes by the door! we are working on it I'll let you know what works for that type of transition!
and thank I'm glad I got a chance to give Pooter a better life too! and there will muuuch more of tikka to come!
