OP - if you're really concerned, don't buy from that breeder

I also suggest that you learn a whole LOT more before you even consider breeding anyway. AKC papers isn't even the half of it. If you want to buy one of the traditional colored pups from the breeder you have spoken to, get it nuetered and spend as much time as you can learning about the breed and everything involved in breeding from someone who really experienced, then down the road you can reconsider it.
Everyone's getting all crazy here about partis (again

) and no one is talking to this person about the fact that she is wanting to breed and still knows little about Yorkies. OP, please don't think I'm being mean here, I'm truely just trying to answer your questions and help you, but I honestly don't think you're ready for breeding yet if you don't understand the process of registering. Keep learning first, maybe find a breeding mentor
