Karen was explaining that the parti has shown up in show breeder lines as well and then you say, in response, to stick with the standard and do not cross for dollars. Are you also saying that the show breeder(s) that now know that their line is producing partis are doing it for the money? They are still showing their carriers, by the way....so who knows, maybe there will be a parti BOB one day.
They are still breeding, showing and selling their line to other show breeders so the sky's the limit for the future of the parti.
It's a recessive gene and it's here to stay...especially with the carriers being shown (and bred).
