I do not like it either!!! First off, hello my name is Dana, I am a newbie but that does not mean I don't know what I'm talking about.
My baby Emma is 6mo and weighs 4lbs.
Before I got her it was not something I thought about with dogs I had in the past.
Yorkies are so tiny, so delicate. Most people that want to hold them do not realise just exactly how fragile they are.
One of these little babies only has to fall a foot to break a bone. Would these people like to pay to have OUR baby put in a cast? Operated on? Extremely expensive vet bills?
NO and it's safe to say most probably wouldn't.
And these little ones get hurt so easy.
People wouldn't mean to hurt them but accidents happen.
CHILDREN especially.
I have read so many horror stories about accidents with them.
It's just safer for everyone to say NO!
Most will understand if you explain but for those who don't..
not your problem. Sorry for rambling, just something I've dealt with myself. GOOD LUCK TO YOU. And I know what you mean... do people ask if they can hold a pitt bull? lol |
