I have a 6 month old yorkie and she did the same thing when it came to potty training. She managed to pee on the pad, but rarely pooped on it! I put down two pads.............and "YAY" it worked. Make sure that you make a VERY big deal out of it when he does go poop on the pad. Even though Rylee is 6 months old now and been potty trained for some time.......we STILL let her know how proud we are of her when she does her "business"
