I once saw a bird pick up and drop a small snake. It went under our trailer which was not underpinned on one side at the time. I freaked out, called dh at work and demanded that he come home and get it out. Had visions of it coming up the commode. A teenager helping another sis in law next door, climbed under the trailer, caught it and told me just a garden (?) snake, nothing bad. He took it with him. By the time dh came home, I was crying hysterically. Trailer was underpinned the next weekend.

We live out in the country so snakes are not unusual. I tend not to return to a place where a snake has been spotted.
