Mike is very lucky to have you loving, protecting, and advocating for him. My husband has spent approximately a year in the hospital if you count up all of the days spanning a 35 year period. Although there are many dedicated people there, it's sad how much it is necessary for someone to be there overseeing the care. I shudder to think about what happens to the people who don't have family or friends to look after them. You and Mike continue to be in my prayers.
