Much to my husband's dismay, I would love to see our male yorkie/papillon sport the traditional yorkie "do". He looks quite yorkie in some of his features but has a VERY fine, thick cotten coat. (sometimes grabbing him the nickname "fuzz head"). I know some yorkies have a similar texture of fur and I was just wondering if you have had much success in taming it and making it "silky". I've never let it grow long enough to find out but I'm curious if length and some product will achieve the results I am looking for.

Looking for tips with fairly inexpensive products, maybe "around the house" type ideas.

First few pictures are of him, last image is what what I would like to attempt. What do you think, is it possible? or is "fuzz head" going to have to stick to a puppy cut? (still cute lol)
