Last year Sophie would bark at the little girl next door who would come to our fence and pet her. I invited her to come over to our house and play with Sophie in our back yard. That helped somewhat. Now Sophie doesn't bark as long or hard at her (mostly just to say hello) and looks forward to their play dates. Maybe you could introduce them and they could come over one at a time.
