This is not entirely true. Recently they rescued 6 yorkies from abusive show breeders operating a puppy mill in Maine - it was posted about extensively here in the New England Forum. They also take dogs in need of medical care. I think they do both - maybe Tae1107 a member here will summarize what they do.
