I'm also new to YT and I purchased Madison from them w/out researching as well. She as a bit of a impulse purchase. After i bought her I did research and was also worried that she might be sick. I took her to the vet they recommended and also to Cobble Hill Animal Clinic (which is where we go now) and was satisfied when they both confirmed she was healthy!
