Was the bald spot sudden? Hair there one day, but not the next? Is is possible that your baby got caught in a tight spot, like under some furniture or something, and in the process struggled to get free? Without seeing a larger picture, I just wonder if the lines are from blood under the skin like a broken blood vessel as if the skin was pinched together while tring to free him/herself from something and resulted in the loss of hair.
