I too lost my 12 yr old Little Spark of Fire (Sparky) 10 years ago. Just a thought, make sure you know what your vet is doing to your little one. Sparky had a bad attack and threw up a huge pile of jello like mucus. Rushed him to the vet where they put a tube down his trachea to help him breathe. The tube was too big for this little 4 pounder and they ruptured his trachea. The vet was closing so they told me to take him to er. He died in my arms on the way there. Be careful. It's your right to see what they are doing to your baby. I think of him every day. My heartfelt prayers go out to you and Zoey. I hope everthing comes out ok
