WOW!! I guess I'm lucky. My Pixie who is 5 pounds jumps on and off the bed all the time. She has never fallen. But, she has been raised around a cat!! Not sure if that makes the differences. But, my DH says that we should look into get stairs for the bed to make it easier for her when she gets older. Pixie is only 2 1/2 years old.
