I just heard from one surgeon and he said he could do her surgery but he highly recommends we do one ar at a time because it is a very long painful surgery and she will be in a lot of pain afterwards, he things is we did both at once she would be in so much pain it would be unmanageable. Plus it gives us time between surgeries to come up with the rest of the funds for her next one. I do not like having to put her thru it twice but I dont want to lose her on the table either and he said just to do one ear it is a 4 hour surgery at the least. I have one more consult for her at 6pm tonight. The surgeon that I just talked to said it would be 1300.00 to 1400.00 per ear. And if this other lady will donate they told me she would probably pay the rest of what we need, but at least this vet dropped the charge for me by almost 1000.00. We have to see what the other surgeon says tonight. Hopefully he can give me a better deal. |
