I just read this thread and want you to know I will keep you and Max in my thoughts and prayers. Winston too has seizures, they were very scary at first, but not so much any more. I too went through wondering what was the cause...the trigger...never really came up with an answer. His are infrequent now, he is unmedicated, the vet seems to think his are brought on by low blood sugar, so he eats frequent meals and snacks and we try to keep his level of activity minimal. So far so good, although they do still occur on occasion. Winston started having these when he was 2 years old and he is now 7, gosh how time flies.
