chicken=trouble Thanks Patti. I'm in a bit of a bind as all of the low calorie foods contain chicken and he can't eat that. The only low calorie I can find is the California Natural Low fat lamb and rice. It has 7% (i think) fat to the NB at 10%.
I was thinking about the thyroid but he isn't showing any other symptoms like bad coat, less active etc. but I am going to get a T4 and a chemistry screen done just in case. Maybe the weight gain isn't related to his injury just the timing seemed weird.
I am feeding him 4 times a day with 1/8cup each serving and then 1/8 cup of wet that's mixed with carrots. No treats except for a few cheerios when he potties. So in total he is eating 1/2 cup of food a day. Maybe I should not spread it out and feed him 2 times a day instead? He is so pathetic he lays on the floor near his dish and stares at me. I feel so bad for him!
