Now, I'm really more satisfied about thinking about the item, rather than actually having it. The only exception is if I reallllllly want something for a very extended time, then maybe; still, usually kinda anti-climactic.

[B]I will say the expensive thing I *love* is my engagement ring and wedding band. I look at it every day and it never seems anti-climactic. It represents something meaningful too.
That is so sweet. I can't say the same. My wedding band is a size 4 1/2 and my finger isn't anymore. My engagement ring is a little lose so I worry about wearing it. Both are in safety deposit boxes. My husband stopped buying me jewelry saying I never wear it!
