Oh also...does anyone feel like the desire for 'stuff' is more satisfying than the actual stuff itself? I've bought a few expensive items here and there, and I find it so anti-climactic once I have them. As in, I thought it would "feel" more gratifying.
Now, I'm really more satisfied about thinking about the item, rather than actually having it. The only exception is if I reallllllly want something for a very extended time, then maybe; still, usually kinda anti-climactic.
I will say the expensive thing I *love* is my engagement ring and wedding band. I look at it every day and it never seems anti-climactic. It represents something meaningful too.
