Personally.... I hope you don't take this the wrong way but I don't feel a gentle leader is the best choice for a small dog. It can put stress on the neck especially when you pull even if you don't mean too and there are so many other ways to help correct this problem. If you just take 15 minutes a day and just walk one way and the minute she starts getting ahead, say "nope" or Ut oh or something like that and walk the other way. You'll be going back and forth for awhile but it won't take long for her to catch on. And remember to praise alot when she is walking nicely. Say something that is consistent so that she learns to understand. Like "Bella you are walking so nicely, good girl" Make sure you give her a treat either when you are done or during for "walking nicely" or whatever phrase you choose to use.
