I am a sucker for my Yorkie and it is hard to see them sad. Before you leave give her a big hug and kiss and talk to her. Tell her you will be back. Leave a light on, some toys, food and water, and the radio or televison on for her. The sound will soothe her. Then when you come home, before you do anything else give her your full attention and praise her for being a good girl for waiting for you at home. My little Yoda when he was a puppy, he used to get a real bad case of separation anxiety. He would chew the funiture and rip the wall paper. He was basically afraid we would not come back. He knows that we would never leave him now so everytime we're going somewhere and we tell him to stay home he goes to his little hide out and waits until we return. When I get home I drop everything to greet him. Good luck!
