The main thing that I would worry about would be her rupturing her uterus since she is not a big bitch and she is getting so big. My first yorkie, Dixie, just weight 5 lbs and she would get a huge belly too. Dixie never had any problems whelping.
You will definitely have to watch this momma closely after she has her babies because the smaller girls are more at risk for getting eclampsia. I pray she has a safe whelping. |
No, I have no clue about where she was in her heat cycle... I will ask her owner. I think I'm going to take her to my vet. Her big brown eyes keep haunting me.....it's like she was pleading with me to help her. I know that sounds strange, but I just cat get her off my mind.
