She was a 4 year old puppy mill rescue that the people got in January and had a new baby and couldn't deal with her issues. We weighed her and she was just under 5 lbs. She was one of the cutest babies I have seen. She had a little pink collar on and was so confused. The tech assured me she would either take her home (she lives above the shelter) or someone would. It just broke my heart. I know she will get adopted quickly though. I really wish people would take pet ownership as a life time commitment before getting one. I will keep you posted on her. |
Bless your heart for doing what you do for these angels

I tried it and I could not handle it

I would come home emotionally drained, in tears and disliking people very much. I wanted to bring them ALL home.
