Don't anybody laugh at me now - I'm a huge Twilight fan (Twi-mom as I suppose I'd be called lol), so Alice is named after Alice Cullen (vampire character from the books/movies) since that character has a "pixy" haircut and she's petite. When I saw Alice, it fit perfectly
plus of course I'm paying tribute to the saga
